Finla Työterveys is a seminar partner at the EuroSafety fair 2026. The company wants to be actively involved in building a healthier and more sustainable working life in Finland.
"We know the work and its workers, and we are constantly developing our services to meet the needs of the changing working life. The EuroSafety occupational safety and well-being fair offers us a natural meeting place for business decision-makers, HR professionals and operators interested in occupational health," says Riikka Matilainen, Finla's Head of Customer Relations and Service Development.
According to Matilainen, Finla invests in proactive work ability management, smooth treatment guidance and multi-professional cooperation.
"A high-quality encounter is guaranteed, among other things, by the fact that all those working in our appointment booking service are health care professionals, which ensures timely and appropriate referral to treatment without unnecessary visits or examinations. This saves both customers' time and costs – without compromising on quality," Matilainen says.
Finla's mission is to secure employees' ability to work and function throughout their careers and to support well-being also after working life.
"We want to strengthen thinking in which the role of occupational health is above all proactive and based on partnership. Work should not impair anyone's well-being – on the contrary, well-managed work ability supports the success of both the individual and the organisation," Matilainen summarises.
"Above all, we expect the partnership to be able to strengthen Finla's awareness not only in the Tampere Region, but also in the Turku and Helsinki Metropolitan Area areas, where we also have our own occupational health centres. The fair offers an opportunity to meet both our current and future customers face-to-face and have more in-depth discussions on how the effectiveness of occupational health can be measured and developed as part of the company's strategy," says Marketing Manager Noora Riihinen.
What is in store for Finla's seminar day?
"The programme of our seminar day is built on the themes of work ability anticipation and effectiveness. Inspired by the fair's theme – A healthy employee is a safe employee. In her presentation, Finla's Chief Occupational Health Physician Anniina Anttila will discuss the prediction of work ability risks and the identification of high-risk groups to support preventive occupational health care by utilising artificial intelligence, i.e. machine learning," Riihinen promises.
In addition, Finla's seminar will feature a speech by Kari-Pekka Martimo, Director of Ilmarinen's Work Ability Risk Forecasting and Research, on the effectiveness of occupational health care and cost management from the company's perspective. In addition to the above, the programme includes a comprehensive range of sections related to occupational health, occupational health cooperation and well-being, which bring a practical perspective to the theme of the day.
"At the fair, we hope to meet a large number of decision-makers and experts interested in occupational health services. We welcome everyone to discuss how we can build an effective and humane working life together," Matilainen says.
Finla is a Finnish occupational health care expert organisation that has been operating for more than 50 years, and its mission is to promote the success of its client companies by strengthening the work ability and overall well-being of their personnel.
